Insulating laying and consolidations from a ftoroplast to order

Polymer ftoroplast (politetraftoretilen), received by chemical synthesis is a material with unique physical and chemical properties. Chemical firmness of a ftoroplast is simply phenomenal – it is applied in highways on transfer of especially hostile environment, a sheeting of reactors, pumps, capacities to storage of chemically active liquids, shutoff valves, laying and sealants whom aggressive chemical compositions, etc. influence. Products from a ftoroplast (teflon) are capable to maintain influence of high temperature (to +250 degrees Celsius) and at the same time release of gases at them much less, than at rubber laying – the ware well familiar to all with a teflon antiprigarny covering is an example of that. Ftoroplastovy plugs and details are characterized by low coefficient of friction along with high thermal stability that found broad application in equipment (bearings, plugs, rollers, etc.) where stable properties of mechanisms in the wide range of temperatures are especially important. For improvement of antifrictional properties the ftoroplastovy filler in the form of the smallest particles is applied in dense and liquid greasings - it covers with a thin layer the rubbing surfaces and thanks to it there is a sliding of a ftoroplast in itself. Ftoroplast has remarkable dielectric properties – tension of breakdown makes not less than 8000 V/mm - therefore in transformers and the high-voltage equipment it is possible to find insulators from PTFE.
At the choice of a ftoroplast as material for connection consolidation, it is necessary to consider many factors. The most important of them is a working temperature and pressure, a type of the condensed environment and a design of the connection. Also other factors influencing efficiency of consolidation, for example recurrence of work, mechanical vibrations, accuracy of installation or technical condition of the adjoining surfaces are important.

Of course, details from a ftoroplast have also certain shortcomings:

• hladotekuchest the ftoroplasta (deformation at loading without change of surrounding temperature) demands to provide the restriction of volume for a detail which is not allowing it to extend and change an initial form in a design (laying establishes in special flutes with a limited volume).
• when machining preparations from a ftoroplast for production of high-precision details it is necessary to consider that moment that material can have shape memory, i.e. the made details can change the geometrical sizes eventually. It is necessary to make preliminary normalization and annealing of preparations for an exception of this phenomenon. This shortcoming details from a ftoroplast which make by a pressing method with the subsequent heat treatment thanks to which stabilization of a condition of polymer is carried out are deprived.
• chemically ftoroplast destroy only three-fluoric chlorine and elementary fluorine at high temperatures, fusions of alkaline metals, their solutions in ammonia that practically does not meet in normal conditions.

Ways of production of details from a ftoroplast

1. The easiest and most widespread way of production of laying (details) from a ftoroplast today – machining of preparations (from cores or sheets) cutting on various equipment (turning, milling and ChPU machines). At this way of production it is possible to produce small-scale kits of parts since rather standard equipment, but the material withdrawal percent in shaving can make 50-90%. The cost of products at the same time will be quite high - it is influenced by high labor input and a big consumption of material on product unit.

2. At mass production big percent of withdrawal of a ftoroplast as expendable material, is extremely unprofitable therefore details make from the powder PTFE by a pressing method in special press forms with the subsequent heat treatment.
